Mané: We Knew the Difficulty of the Match and Wanted to Win the Final
Senegalese star Sadio Mané spoke in a press statement after qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations final by defeating their Egyptian counterparts 1-0 in the semifinal held today.
Mané said after the match: "We knew the difficulty of the match and understood the strengths of the Egyptian team, so we tried to rely on the accumulated experience and the tournaments we have participated in before."
He added in his speech: "We created chances and controlled the midfield, imposed tight marking on Morsh and Salah, and succeeded in finding spaces between the lines, and this success is credited to all the players."
