Al-Nassr Clarifies the Status of the Team's Injured Duo
Tuesday 13-01-2026
Al-Nassr Club received an important morale boost after medical reports dispelled the coaching staff's concerns regarding the injuries of the French duo Mohamed Simakan and Kingsley Coman following the recent match against Al-Hilal.

The Saudi sports newspaper revealed that Mohamed Simakan participated in the Al-Hilal match after recovering from a previous injury that had kept him out of Al-Nassr's last three league matches.

The newspaper explained that Jorge Jesus coordinated with the medical team to limit Simakan's playing time between 60 and 70 minutes, which made his substitution in the 72nd minute a natural and precautionary measure.

In the same context, reports indicated that Kingsley Coman suffered a minor contusion after a collision with Al-Hilal goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Rubaie, without it affecting his continuation until the end of the match.

Medical examinations confirmed that Coman's injury is not a cause for concern, as he left the match in stable condition and does not require any absence during the upcoming period.

Al-Nassr is preparing to face Al-Shabab next Saturday evening as part of the sixteenth round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League.

Al-Nassr had recently suffered another loss against Al-Hilal by three goals to one, freezing their points at 31 in second place behind the leading Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr is going through a difficult period after failing to achieve any victories in the last four league matches, managing only one draw and three consecutive defeats.
