Officially.. Al-Shorta signs Algerian Tarek Agoun
Wednesday 14-01-2026
Al-Shorta Club officially announced its contract with Algerian defender Tarek Agoun, coming from the Romanian league, as part of the Green Harp's moves to strengthen the team's squad during the current winter transfer window.

Agoun is 28 years old and is considered one of the players with good experience in the defensive line, as the technical staff of Al-Shorta seeks to benefit from his capabilities to enhance the team's defensive system.

This deal came as part of Al-Shorta Club management's efforts to compensate for the departure of several defenders, most notably the Brazilian Lucas Moses and the Moroccan Mehdi Asahabi, which prompted the management to act quickly to fill this gap.

The Algerian Agoun has extensive experience, having previously represented ES Sétif, one of the prominent Algerian clubs, and has also had professional stints in the Czech league as well as the Kuwaiti league, before his latest stop in the Romanian league.
