Sports journalist: Al Ahly failed to compensate for Mohamed Abdel Monem's departure
Sports journalist Moheeb Abdelhadi confirmed that Al Ahly club has so far failed to compensate for the departure of its defender Mohamed Abdel Monem.
Moheib Abdel Hadi said on Facebook: "Since Al Ahly sold Mohamed Abdel Monem, they haven't renewed Rami Rabia's contract. They signed Youssef Ayman, Ashraf Dari, Beckham, El Esh, Yassin Marai, and currently Amr Elgazar. They have spent almost more than the amount they got from selling Mohamed Abdel Monem and still haven't been able to replace him."
Al Ahly succeeded in thrashing Pharco 4-1 today, Saturday, in a match of the sixth round of the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup.
Al Ahly's points increased to 6, placing them fourth in their group standings.
