Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, head coach of Al-Ittihad Club, expressed his complete satisfaction with the performance and the result following the decisive 4-0 victory over Al-Kholood. The match took place on Friday evening at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, as part of the 14th round of the Roshn Saudi League.

Al-Ittihad dominated the match thanks to a hat-trick by the Frenchman Karim Benzema, along with a fourth goal scored by Saleh Al-Shehri after coming on as a substitute in the second half, confirming the Jeddah-based team's control over the course of the game.

Conceição said in his statements after the match: "We achieved a well-deserved victory, and the course of the game, including the red card and the penalty, made the task easier for us."

He added: "We created many opportunities and respected our opponent. In the second half, we succeeded in organizing the team's defensive and offensive lines. Respecting the competitor remains important in every match."

Regarding the transfer window, the Al-Ittihad coach explained: "I am currently focused on my team, and certainly, in every transfer window, players will come and others will leave."

Regarding the repeated threat from Al-Ittihad's right flank, Conceição said: "Moussa Diaby and Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti are performing well and greatly helping the team; they are outstanding. Overall, the team's performance has improved after the last five victories."

The Portuguese coach avoided discussing Abdulrahman Al-Aboud's situation, saying only, "I talk only about the match and the players who participated." He emphasized at the end of his statements that it is still too early to talk about competing for the league title, stressing that the team approaches each match individually.
