El-Hadary Criticizes Mohamed El-Shenawy's Performance in Africa Cup of Nations
Essam El-Hadary, the former star of the Egyptian national team, spoke about the goal scored by the Benin team against Egypt in the Round of 16 match of the Africa Cup of Nations, which took place yesterday, Monday, and ended with the Pharaohs winning 3-1.
Al-Hadari said on "On Sport" channel that the goal resulted from goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy's haste in coming out to the ball, which made it easier for Benin to score.
Al-Hadari criticized El-Shenawy's performance during the tournament, stating that he did not deliver more than 50% of his usual capabilities, except for his match against South Africa, in which he performed acceptably.
Al-Hadari emphasized the importance of the team moving past the match against Benin with all its positives and negatives, stressing that the focus should be on the upcoming matches.
