McFarland: Ready to Face Fulham, and This Is the Team's Condition
Callum McFarland, the interim coach of Chelsea Club, revealed the readiness of some team players to face Fulham in the English Premier League competition.
McFarland said in the pre-match press conference: "Yes, Sanchez, Cucurella, and Caicedo are all training today, and we will see after the session what their final status will be. So far, no player has been ruled out."
He continued: "As for Fofana, he will be examined today to assess his condition before making any decision regarding his participation, and we aim for the team to be in the best possible readiness to face Fulham."
He added: "Caicedo will return to participate after his suspension ends, and Cucurella and Sanchez are also available. We will benefit from all available players to achieve the best performance."
McFarland continued talking about tactical preparations: "Fulham played with a different formation than usual in their last match, so we have to prepare for two different scenarios and try to achieve the greatest harmony between the two plans. If they do not do what we expected, we will adapt as we did against Manchester City."
He added: "I gave credit to the players because they executed the instructions excellently, and we are ready for any possibility."
McFarland confirmed his role before the new coach's contract begins: "I spoke with Liam Rosignol last night, and he is very excited to take on the task. I will lead the team tomorrow in the match against Fulham, and we will try our best to get the three points and then build on that with him."
McFarland concluded his statements by saying: "My goal is to prepare the team perfectly, and we will continue working to deliver the best possible performance in every match, focusing on player integration and their physical and technical readiness."
