Al Hilal's first football team is preparing to make extensive changes to its roster, with five players nearing departure during the winter transfer window, which officially opened on January 5th.

The data indicates that Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Ali Al-Bulaihi, Abdulilah Al-Malki, and the Portuguese João Cancelo are no longer considered in the plans of the coaching staff, led by Italian Simone Inzaghi, at the current stage.

It appears that Abdullah Al-Hamdan is the closest to finalizing his new destination, after reaching an agreement with Al-Nassr Club to sign a contract lasting three seasons for a total amount of 36 million riyals, according to reports.

Al-Hamdan's decision not to renew his contract with Al-Hilal came from his desire to pursue an opportunity that would give him more playing time, aiming to maintain his chances of being part of the national team ahead of next summer's World Cup.

For his part, Mohammed Al-Qahtani is heading for a definite departure this winter, seeking a team that will give him regular playing opportunities, amid reports indicating his close move to join Al-Najma Club.

Simone Inzaghi has also given Al Hilal's management the green light to let go of defender Ali Al-Bulaihi, as he is no longer part of the technical plans. Al-Shabab Club has emerged as one of the interested parties in signing him.

Abdullah Al-Maliki is considered one of the names likely to leave if a suitable offer arrives and the coach agrees, especially given his steadily decreasing chances of playing with the blue team.

As for João Cancelo, he is among the top candidates for departure, having expressed his desire to return to Europe, with clear interest from Inter Milan, in addition to Barcelona as a potential option.
