Aziz El Ouahi's Injury Ends His Participation with the Moroccan National Team
Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, revealed the nature of the injury sustained by midfielder Aziz El Ouahi during the press conference following the match between Morocco and Tanzania, which ended with the "Atlas Lions" winning 1-0 on the evening of Sunday, January 4.
Regragui confirmed that Ounahi will not be able to continue participating with the national team in the tournament, after medical examinations revealed a muscle tear in his calf.
The player arrived at the stadium using crutches, with his left ankle supported by a medical boot. The national team coach explained that the injury occurred during the team's last training session, which took place on Saturday at the Mohammed VI Sports Complex for football in Al Maamoura.
