The management of Egypt's Al Ahly club has officially informed their counterparts at Spain's Barcelona club of their approval of all the details regarding the transfer deal of the young striker Hamza Abdel Karim, a player of the first football team, after reaching a final agreement among the concerned parties.

Hamza Abdel Karim is expected to travel to Spain in the coming days to join Barcelona's ranks after completing all procedures and paperwork. The player will also record a special video expressing his gratitude to Al Ahly and its fans.

In recent hours, there was a disagreement regarding the duration of Hamza Abdel Karim's contract renewal with Al Ahly. The player's father objected to renewing the contract for three seasons, before a compromise was reached to renew the contract for only one season in addition to the remaining season in his current contract.

Sports critic Mahmoud Shawky confirmed via his account on the “X” platform today, Sunday, that the contracts between the two parties are currently under final review, after Al Ahly agreed with the player to renew for one additional season along with the remaining period of his current contract, amid the red management's conviction not to activate the clause to sell the player if he participates in only five matches with Barcelona's second team.
