The Senegalese national team secured a deserved 3-1 victory over their Sudanese counterparts in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16, in a match held at the Ibn Battuta Stadium.
The Sudanese team took the lead through Amer Abdullah in the 6th minute, while the Senegalese team managed to equalize through Bab Gaye in the 29th minute.
In the 45+3 minute, Senegal scored a second goal through Bab Gaye, and Ibrahim Mbae added a third goal for Senegal in the 78th minute.
Senegal booked a seat in the quarterfinals, where they are scheduled to face the winner of the match between Mali and Tunisia.
