Zamalek excludes foreign coach and Tarek Mostafa to succeed Ahmed Abdel Raouf
Zamalek club officials continue their search for a local coach to take charge of the first football team in the upcoming period, following the recent departure of Ahmed Abdel Raouf from the team's coaching position.
According to the newspaper "Youm7," Zamalek's management has decided to abandon the idea of hiring a foreign coach with a high salary, in light of the repercussions from the previous experience with the Belgian Yannick Ferrera, which caused internal problems within the club and ended with him filing a complaint to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to claim his overdue payments.
The newspaper added that Zamalek's management also decided to exclude Tarek Mostafa, the former head coach of Al Bank Al Ahly and Libya's Al Ahly Benghazi, from the list of candidates for the position due to differences in viewpoints between the two parties.
Reports indicated that Zamalek's management is currently weighing between Khaled Galal and Moatamad Gamal to take over as head coach of the White team, while not ruling out the possibility of Tarek Mostafa's return if a resolution is reached regarding the ongoing disagreements between him and the club's management.
