Ramos Breaks into the Investment Scene in Sevilla
The file regarding the sale of Sevilla Club is still far from being settled, after new developments revealed the complexity of the investment scene within the Andalusian club. According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," the financial audit the club underwent led to a significant decline in the offer from American investors.
The newspaper explained that these investors notably lowered their offer, which was initially around 3400 euros per share, before the proposed value dropped to only about 2700 euros, which brought the sale file back to square one.
In a related context, "AS" pointed to the surprising entry of Sergio Ramos into the crisis, who has started preliminary contacts to understand the current situation of the club and study the possibility of joining as an investor in Sevilla, the club where he progressed during his early football career.
The newspaper added that Ramos has previous experience in this field, as he is one of the investing partners in San Fernando Club, currently presided over by the famous sporting director Monchi.
According to the same source, the failure of negotiations with the American investors revived what is known as the third option led by Labi and Quintero, leaving the future ownership of Sevilla Club open to all possibilities pending new developments.
