Real Madrid Surpasses Sevilla in La Liga

Real Madrid achieved a valuable moral victory over Sevilla with a goal to nil, in the match that brought the two teams together in the thirty-seventh round of the Spanish league at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

Sevilla entered the match strongly from the first minutes, taking advantage of the home ground and crowd factors, threatening Thibaut Courtois' goal on more than one occasion, but the Belgian goalkeeper excelled in saving the home team's attempts.

In the 15th minute, Vinicius Junior succeeded in scoring the lead goal for Real Madrid, after he struck a ball that reached him inside the penalty area, before the referee confirmed the validity of the goal after returning to video technology to check for a possible foul on Kylian Mbappe at the start of the play.

Mbappe almost doubled the score with a second goal after a powerful shot from inside the area that went just past the post, while both teams continued their attempts during the second half amid a relatively offensive advantage for the Andalusian team.

In the 67th minute, Mbappe missed a new opportunity after an excellent pass from Vinicius, as he shot the ball over the goal, before Franco Mastantuno came close to scoring with a wonderful shot that hit the post in the 71st minute after a precise pass from Vinicius.

Mbappe scored a goal in the 73rd minute, but the referee canceled it due to offside, while Courtois continued his brilliance after saving his goal from a dangerous chance following a powerful header in the 76th minute, before clearing another attempt with difficulty in the final minutes to maintain his team's lead.

With this victory, Real Madrid raised its tally to 83 points in second place in the Spanish league standings, while Sevilla's tally froze at 43 points in thirteenth place.
