Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, head of Al-Ittihad club, explained the secret behind his team's 3-1 victory over Neom in the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League on Wednesday.

After the match, Conceição said: "Our game against Neom was tough; our opponent has a good coach and talented players. We prepared excellently for the match. There were many players inside the box, and they played well on set pieces. Physically, we were outstanding, and that made the difference in the final moments of the game."

The coach added, "Berguin did not play in his usual position on the wing because he is ready to play in any position, and this deployment created more than one opportunity for us," pointing to the importance of tactical adaptability among players in creating offensive superiority.

Regarding the team's aspirations in the league and Asian tournaments, Conceição affirmed: "We take each match one at a time. The team is ready with both the starting players and the substitutes, and we aim to win every game. The competition will become clear in the final matches."

He concluded by praising the Al-Ittihad fans, saying: "I thank our fans in Tabuk for their exceptional support even though we are playing away from home, and they deserve it."
