Ruben Amorim, the head coach of Manchester United, expressed his disappointment following the draw against Wolverhampton, confirming that his team suffered from a lack of creativity and cohesion throughout the match.

Amorim said: "We struggled throughout the match, we lacked creativity, and we knew it would be a different game compared to the Newcastle encounter. Our energy was different during the match, and although we created some chances, the fluidity was missing due to the lack of cohesion."

He added: "The players tried, but we did not play well with the ball, and when you don’t play well with the ball, you struggle even without it. We need to recover and prepare for the next match."

He continued: "We will not use the absence of some players as an excuse, but I understand the reason behind our lack of fluidity and one-on-one situations."

Amorim pointed out the necessity to move on from this match, saying: "You cannot change the result of this match, but you can move forward and prepare for the next game."

Regarding the substitution of Zirkzee at halftime, he explained: "We were running a lot to recover the ball, and they intensified play with a large number of midfielders. Sometimes attacking with fewer forwards is better. We played with three forwards, and sometimes that is not the best option."
