Real Madrid's Plan to Sign Schlotterbeck
The German newspaper Bild reported that Real Madrid is showing serious interest in signing Borussia Dortmund's central defender, Nico Schlotterbeck, as part of their efforts to strengthen the defense in the upcoming period.
According to the report, Borussia Dortmund's management has set a minimum amount of 70 million euros to approve the sale of the 26-year-old German defender, in case they have to let him go.
On the other hand, Spanish reports indicated that Real Madrid prefers to reduce the financial value of the deal by including players in the transaction, instead of paying the full amount in cash.
The proposed idea involves the transfer of both Diego Aguado and Gonzalo Garcia to Borussia Dortmund, with Real Madrid paying an amount ranging between 30 and 35 million euros to complete the deal.
