The Mozambique national team secured an important 3-2 victory over Gabon in the match held today, Sunday, at the Grand Agadir Stadium, as part of the second round of Group F in the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025".

The first half witnessed great excitement, as the Mozambique national team managed to take the lead with two consecutive goals, scored by Faisal Bangal in the 37th minute and Genie Katamo from a penalty kick in the 42nd minute, before Aubameyang reduced the gap for the Gabon national team in stoppage time at the end of the first half.

At the start of the second half, the Mozambique national team continued their pressure and added the third goal in the 52nd minute through Diogo Calila, while the Gabon national team tried to make a comeback and succeeded in scoring their second goal in the 76th minute through Alex Mukito-Musonda.

Despite the mutual attempts in the final minutes, the score remained unchanged, allowing the Mozambique national team to secure the match with a 3-2 victory.

With this victory, the Mozambique national team raised its total to three points, securing third place in Group F, while the Gabon national team dropped to the bottom of the group with no points after suffering their second consecutive defeat in the tournament.
