Morocco secures valuable win against Gabon in Africa Cup of Nations Qualification

Morocco secured a victory over Gabon with two goals to nil in the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification.

Noussair Mazraoui scored the opening goal for Morocco in the 39th minute, giving his team the lead before the end of the first half. Soufiane Rahimi then added the second goal in the 84th minute to confirm the superiority of the Atlas Lions.

Gabon tried to come back during the match, but they failed to score any goals, resulting in Morocco winning the match 2-0.

Morocco has increased their tally to 3 points to lead the Group A standings, while Gabon remains without points in fourth place.
