Inzaghi Breaks Al Hilal's Training Routine Ahead of Al Khaleej Match
Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Al Hilal, decided to move the team's training session to the afternoon today, in preparation for the match against Al Khaleej on Friday, as part of the 11th round of the Saudi Professional League.
The Saudi sports newspaper mentioned that this decision was made to break the usual routine for the players, after the main stadium at the club's headquarters was closed for winter turf planting.
The training session saw the participation of all available players, except for Yassine Bono and Kalidou Koulibaly, who were absent with their national teams competing in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The newspaper confirmed that the final training session before the match against Al-Khaleej will be held at the youth teams' stadium near the club's headquarters in the Al-Araija district, to compensate for the partial closure of the main stadium.
Al Hilal occupies second place in the Saudi Professional League standings with 23 points after 9 rounds, which increases the importance of the team's preparations to continue competing for the top spot.
These changes in the training routine are part of Inzaghi's strategy to maintain the players' focus and prepare them physically and technically for the challenging upcoming match against Al-Khaleej.
