Italo Zanzi, president of the Italian club Hellas Verona, commented on the future of his international Algerian player, Rafik Boughlali, amid growing interest from several Italian clubs in his services as the upcoming winter transfer window approaches.

In statements reported by the "Corriere di Verona" website, Zanzi expressed his satisfaction with the player's performance levels, affirming that the interest from major clubs is not a cause for concern for the club's management but rather reflects the quality of work within the team. He said: "Big clubs are following Boughlali, and the transfer market should not become a source of tension. Verona always works on strengthening its squad during every transfer window, and if we didn’t have players attracting interest from other clubs, that would be a real problem."

The president of the Italian club added that attracting the interest of rival teams in Verona's players is a testament to their technical value, while emphasizing that the primary goal of the management remains to support the team and maintain its balance.

Zanzi concluded his statements by affirming that the club will continue working to strengthen its roster, saying: "Our goal is always to strengthen the team, and we will do our utmost to achieve that."

These statements come at a time when Rafiq Belghali has become one of the prominent names in Verona's lineup, following the impressive performances he has delivered this season, making him the focus of attention for several major clubs in the Italian league.
