Al-Shorta Club's management is set to terminate the contract of their Brazilian defender Lucas Moses in the coming period, following a severe injury that will keep him off the field for a long time.

Al-Shorta had signed Brazilian center-back Lucas Moses on August 6, coming from Duhok Club, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen their defense line.

Moses suffered a serious injury during one of the team's matches, with medical examinations confirming that he has a torn cruciate ligament, which required him to undergo a successful surgical operation, according to the medical authorities overseeing his case.
