Italian club Milan has officially signed the first professional contract with Vincent Seger Ibrahimović, the son of Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimović, one of the club's most prominent figures during its last two Serie A title wins, before announcing his retirement from football in 2023 wearing the Rossoneri jersey.

The announcement came shortly after Milan's loss in the Italian Super Cup semi-final, where the club confirmed that the 17-year-old player signed his first professional contract. He had joined the club's youth categories in 2022, following an initial experience with Swedish club Hammarby in his home country.

Unlike his father's career, who rose to fame from an early age as a pure striker with physical strength and a high scoring sense, Vincent chose a different path on the field, playing as a central midfielder.

Vincent is considered one of the most promising talents in Milan's academy, delivering remarkable performances in midfield across the youth teams, aiming to carve out his own path away from comparisons and build an independent career within the historic Italian club, separate from his father and older brother Maximilian, who plays as a left winger for Milan.
