Inter Milan Includes Genoa Defender Among Its Interests

The website "Football Italia" reported that Inter Milan has begun exploring alternatives to Denzel Dumfries, who will be out for several months following ankle surgery in London. Among the options being considered is signing the young defender Brock Norton Kavi from Genoa, who has delivered an impressive performance this season.

The Dutch player is expected to be out for two to three months, prompting Inter to rely on both Luis Henrique and Carlos Augusto to cover the right flank. However, the club may seek to make a signing in the upcoming winter transfer window to address the shortage, according to the newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport."

The 21-year-old player transferred to Genoa last summer from Arsenal. He was inconsistent last season due to injuries but has become a key player this season, having played every minute of 14 out of 15 matches, missing only one game due to suspension. The potential transfer fee is estimated at around 20 million euros if Inter decides to move for the player in January.

Alongside Norton Kavi, Inter is also monitoring Marco Palistra, the Atalanta player on loan to Cagliari, although reaching an agreement in January is difficult. Additionally, Raveek Belghali from Hellas Verona is considered a practical option to strengthen the right wing in the winter transfer market.
