The match between Real Madrid and Alavés, which ended with a 2-1 victory for Real Madrid, featured a controversial moment in the 85th minute when Vinícius fell inside the penalty area after being struck on the leg by an opposing player. However, the referee did not award a foul, and the VAR room did not request a review of the incident.
