FIFA Appoints Refereeing Team for Morocco vs. UAE Arab Cup Semi-Final

The refereeing committee of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has appointed the officiating team that will oversee the match between the Moroccan national team and their Emirati counterparts in the Arab Cup semi-final, a highly anticipated encounter in which both sides aim to reach the final.

The match will be officiated by Norwegian international referee Espen Eskås as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Jan Erik Ingan as the first assistant and Isak Bashifkin as the second assistant.

Chinese referee Ma Ning was appointed as the fourth official, alongside his compatriot Zhou Fei, who was assigned as the fifth official, as part of the team managing the match.

At the level of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, the task was assigned to the English referee Jared Gillett, with the Costa Rican Benjamin Benida serving as the assistant video referee.

The Moroccan national team will face the UAE team tomorrow, Monday, at Al Bayt Stadium, in a match where the "Atlas Lions" aim to secure their spot in the final.
