Real Sociedad Club announced via its official website the immediate termination of the contractual relationship with coach Sergio Francisco, who will no longer continue as the first team's coach. Additionally, his assistant Yosu Rivas has been relieved of his position.

The club expressed its gratitude for the professionalism and dedication shown by Francisco throughout his leadership of the first team, as well as during more than eleven seasons he spent at the club's academy, where he played a pivotal role in developing many local young players.

The club wished Sergio Francisco all the best in his future career, both personally and professionally.

Until the Christmas break, Jon Ansotegi will take temporary charge of the team for the remaining two matches.
