Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, defender for the French club Rennes, expressed his great happiness after being selected in the final squad for the Moroccan national team participating in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco, following the decision of head coach Walid Regragui.

Ayat Boudlal affirmed, in a video clip posted by Rennes club on its official page, his pride in wearing the "Atlas Lions" jersey at this continental event, expressing his gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout his football career. He said: "I thank everyone who supported and stood by me, I also thank my team for the trust they placed in me, and I thank coach Walid Regragui."

The Moroccan national team defender added: "I am very happy to be included in the final squad and to represent Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations being held on our home soil. We hope to succeed in winning the title."
