Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, head of Al-Ittihad, has finalized his stance on the team's preparation program following the postponement of the tenth round of the Roshn League, due to the Saudi national team's qualification for the semifinals of the 2025 Arab Cup.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Conceição decided not to extend Al-Ittihad's current training camp in Dubai, preferring to return to Jeddah according to the previously scheduled timeline.

The newspaper explained that the team will conclude its training camp with a friendly match against UAE's Gulf United on Sunday, before heading to Jeddah to continue preparations.

Al-Ittihad achieved a comprehensive victory over Palm City UAE with a score of six goals to nil in their first friendly match during the external training camp.

Sources indicated that Conceição is considering organizing a third friendly match in Jeddah, aiming to enhance technical and physical readiness ahead of the upcoming continental competition.

Al-Ittihad is preparing to face Uzbekistan's Nasaf on December 23, in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite, in a match of great importance for the team's progress.

Al-Ittihad currently occupies the eighth position in the AFC Champions League Elite standings with six points, earned from two wins and three losses.
