Bayern Munich Announces Renewal of Kompany's Assistant Staff Contracts
Saturday 13-12-2025
Bayern Munich announced the extension of the contracts of head coach Vincent Kompany's assistant coaching staff until June 30, 2029, in a move aimed at establishing technical stability within the club and strengthening the current work of the coaching team.

The extension included assistant coaches Rene Maric, Aaron Danks, and Floribert Ngala, along with goalkeeping coach Michael Rischner, as the club considered the continuation of this staff essential to support Kompany's technical vision and to develop the team's performance in the coming years.

This decision comes after the previous contract renewal of Vincent Kompany himself until 2029, following the outstanding performance the team delivered under his leadership, which prompted the management to reaffirm their confidence in him and the staff working directly with him.

Max Eberl, the club's sporting director, confirmed that this step represents a clear message of the club's desire to ensure the continuity of the sports project and to build a long-term vision, especially in light of the positive results achieved recently.
