Hamza Abdel Karim: I Try to Show Everything I Have and I Am Honored to Represent Al-Ahly
Hamza Abdel Karim, the young Al-Ahly player, spoke about the interest from foreign clubs in signing him due to his outstanding performance.
Hamza Abdelkarim's name has been linked with a move to Barcelona Atlètic (the reserve team) in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Hamza Abdel Karim said in statements through Al-Ahly's media center: "Attention gives any player a moral boost, and the spotlight is supposed to always be on Al-Ahly players. This is nothing new for Al-Ahly."
He added: "A player, whether young or old, is supposed to get used to the attention from the beginning of their journey with Al Ahly."
The Al-Ahli player added, "I deal with pressure by trying not to focus on what is being said and instead concentrate only on the game."
He continued: "The attention given to Al-Ahli players is not new, and it is not surprising that the media talks about them. This gives us a moral boost, and that is what is happening with me right now. I am just trying to show everything I have and I am honored to represent Al-Ahli."
Abdel Karim continued: "The interest from foreign clubs is not surprising for Al Ahly or anything related to it."
He then went on to talk about his appearance with the youth national team, saying: "I was fortunate to play with Egypt's youth team in the Youth World Cup, as well as with Al Ahly in the Champions League and the league championship last season, and this motivates me to give my utmost effort."
He continued: "Being included in the preliminary squad for the Egyptian national team is a great honor, and it gives me confidence and motivation to be ready at any time. I definitely wish them success."
