Hussein El Shahat, the star of Al Ahly, revealed his relationship with the club's fans, confirming that he went through a difficult period during his recent injury.

Al-Shehat spoke to the club’s official website and media platforms about his injury period, the behind-the-scenes moments of winning the Egyptian Super Cup, the family spirit that unites the players in the locker room, as well as his ambitions for the future.

Al-Shehat said: "I am very happy to be back in the matches, and I am waiting for the signal from the coaching staff. The injury period was difficult, especially after a period of outstanding performance against Zamalek in the Cairo Derby, but thank God for everything."

He affirmed: "My relationship with Al Ahly fans is special, and I am always proud of it. I work to give my best to make them happy, and I have felt their great support since the derby match against Zamalek."

He pointed out: "I am happy that my picture continues to be circulated while preparing for the Zamalek match. Focus is important to make a difference, especially when sitting on the bench, and most importantly, the fans' happiness with the result."
