Enzo Mariska, the head coach of Chelsea, revealed the latest updates regarding his offensive options ahead of tomorrow's match against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League, especially after the injury of striker Liam Delap, which will keep him out of the team for a period.

Mariska said in the press conference: "Regarding the position of the out-and-out striker, Liam was absent for two months earlier in the season, and that was unfortunate for him and for us."

He added: "Joao played as the number 9 striker, Pedro Neto also participated in this position, as did Tyrique George. We are trying to find solutions, and we know that Liam is an important player who needed to play matches and develop, but now we will look for suitable alternatives."

He continued: "We will try to find solutions during his absence because he is an important element in the team."

Regarding Chelsea's situation in the Champions League, Mariska continued: "We are in seventh place after five matches, and our goal is to achieve positive results to secure direct qualification to the round of 16."

About the match against Atalanta and playing conditions away from home, the Italian coach said: "We have more points away from home in the English Premier League, and in the Champions League we played two away matches, drawing one and losing the other, but things balance out by the end of the season."

He added: "It is not just about playing away matches, but about the short period between games. We played two days ago, and before that, we played just two days earlier. We are trying to adapt to this pressure."
