Manchester United Sets Condition for Zakaria's Departure in January
Sunday 07-12-2025
The British newspaper 'Metro' reported that Manchester United is open to the departure of Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee during the upcoming winter transfer window, but on the condition that the move is permanent.

According to the newspaper's report, Manchester United's goal in permanently transferring Zirkzee is to reinvest the financial return in new deals during the next winter transfer market.

In the same context, the Italian newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport' revealed that Manchester United's management rejected the first offer from Roma to sign Zirkzee on loan with an obligation to buy, as the club considered the offer's value insufficient and not in line with their valuation of the player.

Manchester United believes that selling the player permanently is the most suitable option at this time, given the need for financial liquidity to support the attacking line with new signings during the winter market.
