Al Hilal Saudi Club, through media reports close to it, refuted all rumors circulating about the management's intention to sell the contract of Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez during the upcoming winter transfer window, affirming their full commitment to the player.

Al Hilal denied the reports following Brazilian press talks suggesting Núñez's desire to leave Riyadh in January and the possibility of his transfer to the Argentine club River Plate due to his discomfort.

The Saudi channel Thamaniya's website confirmed that Al-Hilal's management is not considering the idea of letting Núñez go at all, and that the rumors about his departure are nothing more than baseless gossip with no connection to reality and are not supported by any official communication.

The site indicated that the Uruguayan striker feels settled within the team and is not considering a new experience at the moment, especially after quickly adapting to the Al Hilal system.

The report indicated that Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Al Hilal, was the one who decided to sign Núñez last summer, fully convinced of his offensive capabilities, which makes the idea of his departure in the winter transfer window unlikely.

Núñez transferred to Al Hilal in the last summer transfer window from English club Liverpool for £54 million, signing a three-year contract, reflecting the club's desire to build a long-term project around him.
