Harry Kane Tries to Convince Guéhi to Join Bayern Munich
The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that striker Harry Kane is working to persuade defender Marc Guéhi, a Crystal Palace player, to choose Bayern Munich's offer in the near future.
The newspaper confirmed that Kane has indeed spoken with his teammate from the English national team to encourage him to join the German club.
Mundo Deportivo explained that Barcelona has been monitoring Guéhi for some time, but decided weeks ago not to engage in any bidding wars for the English defender, despite having him on their list of targeted players alongside Nico Schlotterbeck, the Borussia Dortmund defender, whom German reports indicate will not be renewing his contract.
The newspaper added that Guéhi, who is 25 years old and whose contract with Crystal Palace expires at the end of the season, is considered one of the most prominent names available on the market. However, according to Deco's statements, Barcelona's management does not plan to engage in a financial competition to sign him. He said, "We are not in that position right now because we believe we have a balanced team, but we don't know what might happen."
