Al-Ahli Saudi Competes with Europe's Giants for Globe Soccer Awards 2025
The organizers of the Globe Soccer Awards have announced the final list of nominees for the Best Club in the World award for 2025, as part of the award categories for the Middle East and the world.
Al-Ahli Saudi, the champion of Asia's elite, was among the clubs that reached the final stage, continuing its strong presence this year amid fierce competition with the world's top clubs.
The final list includes eight clubs, among them Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Flamengo, and Sporting Lisbon, alongside Al-Ahli Jeddah, the sole representative of Saudi football.
Egypt's Pyramids FC was eliminated from the race for the award after the public voting closed, despite being on the initial list alongside prominent teams that were later eliminated, such as Napoli, Tottenham, Inter Milan, and PSV Eindhoven.
The organizing committee explained that the voting process saw intense competition among the club fans, before finalizing the list that will determine the winner during the official ceremony.
The club awarded the prize is expected to be announced at the annual Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on December 28, amid significant global attention.
