Egypt's second team drew positively 1-1 against Kuwait this evening, Tuesday, in the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.

Awad added in a television interview after the match that securing the three points at the start of the campaign would have given the team a strong boost and psychological comfort before facing the strong teams of the UAE and Jordan in the next two rounds.
