Helmy Tolan, the head coach of Egypt's second national team participating in the Arab Cup, spoke about his team's draw against Kuwait in the Arab Cup.

The Egyptian national team drew 1-1 with the Kuwaiti national team in the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.

Tolan said in a post-match interview: "We were the better team throughout the match, we controlled and dominated the game, which was one-sided, but we couldn't secure the win."

He added: "In the first half alone, we could have scored 4 or 5 times against Kuwait, just as we did in the second half despite conceding a goal. In the end, that's football."

He explained: "When opportunities are wasted, there must be consequences, and that's what happened when the Kuwait national team scored. However, we managed to score a goal from a penalty kick in the end, despite missing another one in the first half."

Tolan concluded: "I believe we played an excellent match. The players were up to the task and gave their best, and in the next two matches, we can make up for what happened."
