Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Oman national team, confirmed that his team is ready to compete in the Arab Cup and that they aim to advance beyond the group stage.
The Omani national team faces the Saudi national team this evening, Tuesday, in the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.
In the pre-match press conference, Queiroz said: "We look forward to a perfect start in our tournament journey, and we must be at the peak of our mental and technical readiness."
He added: "We are excited to compete in the matches of this tournament and aim to perform well and advance beyond the group stage."
He continued: "The Saudi team is excellent and includes players of a high caliber, and we will give our best to achieve victory over Saudi Arabia."
