The features of the new coaching staff for the Saudi national team are nearing completion, with strong indications that Greek coach Georgios Donis will take on the role in the upcoming period.

Press reports revealed that Donis will succeed the Frenchman Hervé Renard in leading the Green team, following a preliminary agreement on all the details related to the contract.

She explained that the Greek coach will bring along his technical staff who worked with him at Al-Khaleej Club, except for the goalkeeping coach.

It was also mentioned that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has completed the financial compensation procedures for Al-Khaleej Club for the remaining duration of the coach's contract.
