Mido Reveals Reasons for Ferreira's Departure from Zamalek
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, revealed the real reasons behind the departure of the Belgian Yannick Ferreira from coaching Zamalek.
Mido said on the program "Oudat Al-Labes": "One of the main reasons behind Ferreira's departure from Zamalek is his involvement in the Belgian league match-fixing scandal known as the 'Yellow Operation'."
He added: "If Ferreira had received all his financial dues from Zamalek, he would not have started complaining about the non-payment of the technical analysis team's fees or spreading rumors about the club in the media."
Mido continued: "The most important thing in Ferreira's resume is that he coached Zamalek, which is the biggest name among the clubs he has managed. It seems he is trying to get the highest possible amount from the club, but not in this way. Zamalek is a great team and deserves respect."
He concluded: "Ferreira was out of work for a long time, and Zamalek opened its doors to him, but now he is trying to tarnish the club's image, and this is unacceptable."
