Malian Stadium wins 2-1 against Simba and shares the lead.

Al-Malawi Stadium secured a valuable 2-1 victory over their Tanzanian guest Simba in the match held today, Sunday, as part of the second round of Group D in the CAF Champions League.

The Al-Fayha team scored two early goals, with Tadious Nking scoring in the 16th minute, followed by Ismaila Simbara in the 23rd minute, before Simba reduced the deficit through New Maima in the 54th minute.

The Malian team missed the chance to extend the lead after Tadious Nking missed a penalty in the 61st minute. Additionally, the Tanzanian team finished the match with ten players following the sending off of Alassane Kanté in the 82nd minute.

With this victory, Stade Malien increased their tally to four points, joining Angola's Petro Atlético at the top of the group, two points ahead of Tunisia's Espérance Sportive de Tunis in third place, while Simba remained in fourth place with no points.

It is noted that Espérance drew 1-1 with Petro Atlético yesterday, Saturday.
