Tunisian club Esperance regains star before crucial match against Al-Suwaiq in Africa

Espérance Sportive de Tunis have received a significant boost ahead of their clash with Al-Suwaiq in the second leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32, having regained the services of their Brazilian playmaker Lucas Ribeiro, who is now ready to return to action following his recovery from injury.

Rades Stadium will host the second leg between the two teams next Saturday, as Esperance aim to compensate for their loss in the first leg by a goal to nil and revive their hopes of reaching the group stage of the continental competition.

The return of Ribeiro gives Spanish coach Pablo Franco additional options in midfield, especially in terms of playmaking and providing attacking solutions, at a time when the Tunisian team needs to capitalize on opportunities and translate their home advantage into goals that will secure qualification.

The Brazilian player missed the first leg due to injury, as the coaching staff decided not to risk playing him, waiting for him to regain fitness ahead of the upcoming match in Tunisia.

Espérance rely on the support of their fans and home advantage to turn the tie around, as they need to win by two goals to secure direct qualification. Meanwhile, Al-Suwaihli aims to maintain their lead and achieve a historic qualification at the expense of one of Tunisia's top clubs.

Fans of Espérance are keen to see how Ribeiro's return will affect the team's performance in a match where the home side has little margin for error, as they need to secure a result that compensates for their defeat in the first leg and ensures their continued journey in the African competition.
