Sunday 30-11-2025
Negotiations regarding Youssef Belammri's transfer from Raja Casablanca to Al Ahly SC are showing significant progress, as officials from the Egyptian club have intensified their communication with the player while they are in Morocco to play against FAR Rabat in the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly made an offer for four and a half years, with an annual salary of $900,000 and gradual increases, hoping to finalize the deal during the upcoming winter transfer window. However, the international left-back set higher financial demands, requesting a signing bonus of $1 million, in addition to an annual salary of $1 million with an increase of $100,000 each season, bringing the total value of the deal to nearly $6 million.

Belamri prefers to postpone the decision until the summer transfer window to take advantage of his status as a "semi-free" player and to consider potential offers from Gulf or European clubs. Meanwhile, Al-Ahli insists on signing him in January to strengthen the left side and has previously offered a $1 million signing bonus and $500,000 to buy out the last six months of his contract.

On the other hand, Raja continues to insist on its financial demands, requesting one million dollars to release its player during the winter transfer window.

The Boulamri deal remains one of the most intriguing topics in the transfer market, caught between Al Ahly's desire to finalize it quickly, the player's financial ambitions, and Raja's firm stance, with the Egyptian team having a ready alternative in case negotiations fail.
