Imam Ashour's Stance on Participating in the Africa Cup of Nations
Media personality Ahmed Hassan revealed the stance of Al Ahly star Imam Ashour regarding participating in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Exclusive... The medical team at Al Ahly club informed the officials of the Egypt national team that Imam Ashour is fully fit to participate in the national team's matches in the Africa Cup of Nations as usual."
Imam Ashour has recovered from the recently contracted virus A infection, which caused him to miss his team Al-Ahly's matches.
The Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The Egyptian national team is in Group B alongside Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Angola.
