Inzaghi Approves Al Hilal Player's Departure During Winter Transfers
Saturday 29-11-2025
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, head of Al Hilal Saudi Club, has decided to allow the club's management to open the door for midfielder Abdelilah Maliki's departure in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Inzaghi confirmed that Al-Maliki will not get enough opportunities in the starting lineup due to the presence of Nasser Al-Dosari and Mohammed Kanno, as well as the two foreign players, Ruben Neves and Sergej Savić.

The coach pointed out that the decision came after studying the team's needs and the management's desire to organize Al-Hilal's lineup to ensure better utilization of the players during the current season.

He explained that the club is considering candidates to replace Al-Maliki, with Murad Hawsawi, a player from Al-Khaleej club, leading the list of potential signings during the winter transfer window.

A source within the club reported that the Hawsawi file could be finalized in the coming days, after reaching an agreement on all administrative and technical details related to the potential deal.

Al Hilal is preparing to face Al-Fateh tomorrow, Saturday, in the quarterfinals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, in a match where the team aims to continue its positive results and strengthen its chances in the tournament.
