Mohamed Elneny, the Al Jazira UAE player, confirmed that the Egyptian national team will compete in the Arab Cup to win the title.

The Arab Cup will be held from December 1 to 18 in Qatar.

Elneny added during press statements on the sidelines of Egypt's second training session today, Thursday, at the national teams center in 6th of October City: "Everyone is enthusiastic to deliver the best possible performance, and I feel proud to join this wonderful list of players and the technical staff's trust, led by Helmy Tolan, in my abilities."

He continued: "Our dream is to win the Arab Cup title, and I will never hesitate to respond to the call of the Egyptian national team at any time. I have previously played in the 2012 Olympics, as well as in the 2024 edition, in addition to participating in the Youth World Cup, the Africa Cup of Nations, and the World Cup."

Elneny pointed out: "Wearing the Egyptian national team jersey is an honor for any player, and the players unanimously agree that the team will compete in the tournament to win the Arab Cup title and make the Egyptian fans happy."

He clarified: "The Egyptian national team remains a major competitor and an extraordinary favorite to win. All respect to the Pharaohs' rivals in the tournament, but there is no exaggeration in valuing any competitor, and the play will be for victory."
