The Argentine network "TyC Sports" reported that Boca Juniors is seeking to sign the Italian star Marco Verratti, the current midfielder of the Qatari club Al-Duhail.

This move comes as part of the Argentine club's efforts to strengthen its squad with experienced and outstanding players, taking advantage of the player's potential willingness to embark on a new and different experience in Latin American football. If completed, the deal will be one of the most notable transfers in the South American market this season.

According to the same report, the possibility of Verratti moving to "La Bombonera" carries the potential for a reunion between the Italian player and his former midfield partner, the Spaniard Ander Herrera.
