Disciplinary Committee Announces New Sanctions Affecting Diabate, Al-Dosari, and Al-Juhani in the Saudi League
On Wednesday evening, the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued a series of disciplinary decisions affecting three players: Nasser Al-Dosari from Al-Hilal, Moussa Diabate from Al-Ittihad, and Ziyad Al-Juhani from Al-Ahli.
Al-Dosari was penalized after being sent off with a direct red card during the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Fateh, due to committing violent conduct against an opposing player, according to the match referee's report.
The committee also recorded a similar expulsion for Diabate during the Al-Ittihad vs. Al-Riyadh match due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards an opposing player, while the same situation was repeated with Al-Juhani in the Al-Ahli vs. Al-Qadsiah match.
The committee confirmed that Al-Dosari violated Article (48-1-1) of the Disciplinary Regulations and decided, in addition to the automatic suspension, to impose a fine of ten thousand riyals to be deposited into the account of the Saudi Football Federation.
In contrast, Diabate and Al-Juhani were found to have violated Article (48-1-2) of the Disciplinary and Ethical Regulations, resulting in a two-match suspension for each, which includes the automatic suspension due to the red card.
The Disciplinary Committee has fined players Diabate and Al-Juhani 20,000 riyals each, noting that all issued decisions are final and not subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the approved regulations.
